I’ve been procrastinating wildly the last few months. A lot of it has to do with other things going on: a crazy job, crazy home life, the world — crazy in general. Things seem to be settling down for the moment, though I have a feeling that’s the Gods of Comedy just lulling me into a false sense of security before the next round of “hilarity ensues.”

(There are moments I wonder if my life is an Oscar-worthy drama or a really bad sitcom. I’d make more money if it was a sitcom. And have one of those cool apartments or homes the set designers invariably come up with.)

But this is just a drive-by to remind everyone I’m alive because there’s an announcement coming tomorrow. A book-shaped announcement. Yes, I should have done this sooner, but, well, procrastination. See you tomorrow.

(And the photo is not necessarily an indication of my state of mind. It’s just that I’ve had this fantasy idea rattling around in my brain the last few weeks, demanding attention.)
